Dear One,
From inside my home, I see the bright sun rising over the lake and the spring freshness of the outdoors calls me to explore this day’s beauty. Yet my passion to enjoy nature is eclipsed by something even more exciting - living on the leading edge of thought in the effortless experience.
Even since my childhood years, in the rolling farmlands of central Kentucky, I have always known there is something beyond what we experience with our senses. I’ve also believed it was my destiny to know that something and to share it. Though my experiences have not always been effortless or supported my belief that life can be lived effortlessly, I never gave up that dream.
I began my quest in the small country churches on the back roads of Kentucky. Even when I was too young to understand the preacher, I felt something behind the prayers. That relationship with the sweet subtleties of Spirit continued with me through the normal trials and tribulations of growing up and the struggle to live this mystery I knew, even in what appeared to be a harsh and unpredictable world.
Eventually I was led to Vanderbilt University Divinity School; thinking theological study and discourse might awaken me to the true knowledge that Christ held while in physical form. When it didn’t, I moved my search to the mystic traditions of the world’s religions – Christianity, Judaism, Muslim and Buddhism. I learned and experienced many precious truths during my explorations and even moments of effortlessness. But still the true peace was missing.
Over this time I had journeyed through different streams of Christianity, liberal, conservative and charismatic having all the experiences of the presence of Christ that each proclaimed.
Though my belief system now is still rooted in Christianity, I recognize that if most transcendent and peace-loving theologies hold the power to attract large numbers of believers they, therefore, must share a universal truth.
My search for that truth included ancient manuscripts and teaching from the Essenes in Christianity; Kabbalah in Judaism; Sufism in Muslim and Falun Gong in Buddhism. Yet, it continued to be influenced by ‘the awakened dream’ experiences of knowing Jesus Christ.
All of my experiences with religion have provided me with many wonderful, life-changing moments. Through these different disciplines, I recognized essential truths. And to my surprise, all the truths I discovered led me to the same place.
And that is at the point of awareness the truth cannot be spoken. It’s like climbing a steep mountain most of your life to stand at the peak and gaze upon the majestic view of deep blue sky, and distant lush green landscapes and to lose all thought through that awareness including the thought of the mountain you just climbed.
I invite you to join me in this place where the truth can not be spoken that some call the Abundant Flow. This is the place where you become aware of the effortless experience, the joy of creating the new realities you want and the fulfillment from realizing the purpose of your true existence.
With Love,
Diana |
